NIHON NO GOHAN was founded in December 2023 in Okinawa to connect serious cooks with a very small number of Japanese seasonings.
What We Do
We select and import soy sauce and yuzu ponzu that are suited to careful cooking, not mass use. We focus on clarity of flavor, balance, and how each product behaves in stock and sauces.

How We Think
Let the maker focus on brewing. We focus on where it goes.
The shoyu we carry is brewed at a house founded in 1688. Our work is to place it in kitchens where that level of care will be understood.
